In this way here we followed the model based UI desing approach. The significant things which we included with this site is the most recent item with most recent arrangement client can pick according to setup of that item, outside gadgets, security for transcation, client can send their view or remark and some more. Hard Disk Drive 20GB (min. free useable plate space). 1.3.2 Technology Description 1) JSP: As there are number of abbreviations with which the Internet is stuffed, another is JSP. Here the JSP is representing the Java Server Pages, however it㠢㠢‚⠬㠢„â ¢s regularly known as the JSP. JSP is only the scripting language and particularly like the ASP, PHP dialects. There are many free facilitating accessible for the JSP sites as a result of the explanation is that JSP is free and open source, basic, vigorous. There are other web improvement advances additionally accessible now days, for example, PHP, ASP.net and so on. Be that as it may, we experienced a few issues with such advances which are introduced in following legitimization for the equivalent: JSP over PHP: Both (JSP PHP) is web innovations are solid. For the a large portion of the endeavor level applications JSP is better approach to do due to its security, dependability, speed of execution and so forth and more are the benefits of JSP. Utilizing JSP, we can create web application speedy by keeping up the degree of execution, security for the equivalent. JSP over ASP.NET: ASP.NET is accompanied the Microsoft item in the VS structure which is likewise one of the better method to plans and build up our sites, however the issue with such innovation is that it is accessible just monetarily implies not openly as the JSP. As the we are getting same exhibitions from the JSP as from the ASP.net, at that point it㠢㠢‚⠬㠢„â ¢s enough to choose to go with the JSP. Aside from this, there some different preferences which of JSP over the ASP.NET we watched, for example, Uninhibitedly Avaliable and Platform autonomous. Facilitating is Cheply accessible. Web Server for JSP is free. On the off chance that OS is Linux, no compelling reason to pay for the antivirus programming projects. Fast turn of events. 2) MSSql Server 2000: One of the amazing is MSSql. There are numerous other ground-breaking databases, for example, Oracle, Mysql and so forth are accessible. Yet, while choosing MSSql database, there are two things which were tended to when contrasted with Oracle just as MySql as: database which is best appropriate with the JSP and another is database which have quick speed to recover, update or correspondence with information. While with Oracle, MySqlserver there parcel of additional endeavors should be done before setting up the web application, the MSSql database is simple database with the high dependability, quick execution, and simple to utilize. Task Plan Along these lines as we utilized the steady approach of the product advancement, this task is isolated into the various stages like prerequisite investigation stage, structuring stage, improvement stage, sending stage, testing stage and so forth. Following graph shows the review of the proposed venture plan with their time spans. Connections of the site are checked against the all connections given in the site whether they are working as indicated by the particular given. 3) Validating Accessibility This is the most significant action which must be remembered for each site quality arranging. It isn't sufficient just to make the site, since individuals from better places, with various stages getting to our site. The activity of web openness is the keeping up the assets list which will help so as to planning the sites which will available. 4) Response Time For the sites like proposed one it㠢㠢‚⠬㠢„â ¢s important to check up with the reaction time of server in light of the fact that with sites a few shopping exchanges should be finished. Part 2: Software Development Methodologies 2.1 Types of Methodologies The instrument of procedure is for the most part made out of the at least one methods related to the one of the models of programming improvement. The prototyping strategies, object situated methods which are the numerous courses so as to execute the models, for example, steady, cascade and winding models. During the single venture such sorts of systems are coordinated just as blended. Along these lines the system = methods + models. La Leche League International Promoting Awareness for Breastfeeding Free Essays

La Leche League For decades there has been a debate over whether or not women should be allowed to breast feed their infants in public. Breastfeeding is a significant activity in early development. Human breast milk contains essential nutrients and calories that are vital to the growth and health of children during the earliest stages of life. We will write a custom essay sample on La Leche League International: Promoting Awareness for Breastfeeding or any similar topic only for you Order Now There are many organizations that have been formed to promote the awareness and necessity for breastfeeding. The most popular organization is the La Leche League International (LLLI). The La Leche League offers the women of the Valley the opportunity to join an international women’s organization and to better gain valuable insight on the history of breastfeeding and benefits that breastfeeding provides to both the mother and her infant. The La Leche League International is a non-profit organization that was founded by seven mothers (Mary White, Edwina Hearn Froehlich, Mary Ann Cahill, Betty Wagner Spandikow, Viola Brennan Lennon, Mary Ann Kerwin, and Marian Leonard Tompson) in the United States in 1956. The founders of the La Leche League hoped to help other mothers who wanted to breastfeed their children but found it difficult. The La Leche League offers information and encouragement (mainly through personal help and experience) to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies. The La Leche League encourages breastfeeding from birth onwards with no upper age limit for the child. The idea for naming the ‘La Leche League’ came from a statue in St. Augustine, Florida honoring â€Å"Nuestra Senora de la Leche y Buen Parto† which means â€Å"Our Lady of Milk and Good Childbirth†. When the La Leche League was found, the words â€Å"breastfeeding† and â€Å"pregnant† weren’t readily accepted in society, so the Spanish word â€Å"La Leche† (which stands for â€Å"the milk†) was used as to not offend anyone in the society. In 2010, the League published the book The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding which â€Å"is the most complete resource available for the breastfeeding mother. The book became a National Best-seller†. The La Leche League is active in 65 countries and territories; it reaches more than 300,000 mothers monthly through a network of over 7,000 accredited leaders (â€Å"Brief†). The La Leche League was founded to give information and encouragement, mainly through personal help, to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies. While complementing the care of the physician and other health care professionals, it recognizes the unique importance of one mother helping another to perceive the needs of her child and to learn the best means of fulfilling those needs. It helps mothers who want to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and the mother (â€Å"LLLP†). The La Leche League believes that breastfeeding is best thing to do for the baby and the mother. It offers a unique bonding experience that fosters a nurturing relationship between mother-to-child. The La Leche League also believes that breastfeeding can deepen a mother’s understanding of the responsibilities and rewards of her new role in the family. To be a member of the La Leche League it cost an annual fee of $25. Members are granted access to an international e-newsletter, a discount in their online store and special offers via email. The La Leche League believes mothers who are members of LLLI breastfeed longer because they have the information, education, support, and encouragement they need to enjoy the experience. Supporting Membership in LLLI is a real bargain when you consider the costs of not breastfeeding! The best way is to join is through a local group, so that funds will be available in your vicinity to help mothers and babies locally but members may opt to join online (â€Å"Benefits of LLL†). The closest center to our area is in McAllen, Texas. The McAllen group meets every third Tuesday of the month. All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to attend any meeting or call one of the Leaders for breastfeeding help or information. Babies are always welcome at the meetings as well. La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns. Interested candidates for membership can join LLLI locally in 65 different countries and territories or online virtually anywhere. Although the La Leche League is a non-profit organization, in 2009-2010 it received â€Å"$594,083 from membership dues, $485,035 from Publications, $382,680 from Contributions, $327,044 Royalty Income, $34,522 from Periodicals, $7,760 from Miscellaneous, $5,279 from Interest Income, and $650 from Workshop and seminar fees† (â€Å"LLLIO†). The most commonly issue with mothers breastfeeding is if it is acceptable public acceptance. While there are no recorded laws in the US forbidding breastfeeding outside of the home and only three states in which laws place any limitation on the way in which public breastfeeding may be done, it is often frowned upon by the public. A woman who breastfeeds in a privately owned place open to the public, such as a restaurant or shopping mall, might lawfully be asked to leave, either by the owner or in accordance with the owner’s instructions. State laws that protect public breastfeeding fall into three categories. Currently, the strongest state laws are those that both protect a woman’s right to breastfeed anywhere she or her child have a right to be, regardless of whether the breast is showing, and that also give the woman the power to bring a legal action against anyone who interferes with her breastfeeding. Other state laws establish a woman’s right to breastfeed in public, but don’t provide a way for her to enforce this right. The third category specifies that the act of breastfeeding is not indecent exposure (sometimes given other names, but always referring to the exposure of body parts), and prevent a woman from being charged with a sex crime for breastfeeding. Most of the states in the United States do protected nursing but there are three states that have no law protecting nursing, which include West Virginia, Nebraska, and Idaho. As for the state of Texas there is a law that protects nursing in public but without an enforcement provision (â€Å"Public†). Aside from knowing the laws about breastfeeding in public, people need to educate themselves on the benefits of breastfeeding to the infant and the mother. â€Å"Breastfeeding is one of the best ways to ensure a baby’s health and development. It’s a convenient, cost-effective, natural way to feed your baby† (â€Å"Breastfeeding†). Breast milk has been found to provide the ideal balance of nutrients for optimal growth and development, and it is easily digestible by the baby. This is because the breast produces colostrum, which is thick, yellowish fluid that helps a newborn’s digestive system develop and function properly. Nursing can also prevent many common childhood illnesses as breast milk contains antibodies that pass from the mother to the baby for protection. This is called natural immunity, and studies have shown a decrease in both hospitalizations and pediatrician visits in babes that were breastfed by their mothers. Some of the common aliments that are decreased include bacterial meningitis, iarrhea, ear infections, and respiratory tract infections. Other, more server condition, such as sudden infant death syndrome and childhood leukemia, have been confirmed by research to have a reduced risk of development in babies who have been breastfeed (â€Å"Breastfeeding†). For premature infants, human milk significantly shortens that duration of their hospital stay, hastens brainstem maturation, and reduces the risk of life-threating disea ses. A mother’s breast milk is unique in both its composition and function, and cannot currently be reproduced by other manmade substance. Even though there are a multitude of benefits for the baby, there are also many for the mother as well. Breastfeeding helps the uterus return back to its normal size and reduces post delivery bleeding after by releasing a hormone called Oxytocin. It also burns up to five hundred calories per day, which helps the mother shed the pounds gained during pregnancy in a natural way, and breastfeeding may reduce the rick of developing postpartum depression. Breastfeeding exclusively can delay the return of the menstrual cycle for twenty to thirty weeks. Not only does this help the mother recover quickly after leaving the hospital, but also it is 98% effective in preventing pregnancy. However, birth control is still suggested for preventative measures, and has not been found to have any adverse affect on the baby while breastfeeding. The most important benefit, however, is the bond developed between the baby and mother while breastfeeding, which helps to enhance emotional attachment between the two (â€Å"Benefits of â€Å"Breastfeeding†). The individual that I interviewed said that breastfeeding made her â€Å"fell closer to her baby and prideful that she could provide for her child† (Milligan). This physical contact also helps the baby to feel more secure and warm in their environment, and eases the transition out the womb. While breastfeeding, a baby gets skin-to-skin contact, ensuring a closer bond to their mother and helping the baby to feel more satisfied emotionally. Another great reason is that mothers can save thousands of dollars on hospital visits and formal. Mothers can spend up to $500 each month for formula and up to $1500 for doctor visits, prescriptions, and hospital stays in the first year (â€Å"Benefits of LLL†) Since breastfeeding also results in a reduction in an infants illness, the mother will be able to take fewer sick days off from work. Although breastfeeding may seem scary or foreign, it is actually a very natural process to the body that will, with time, become both comfortable and natural for the mother. After weighing the multitude of benefits for the baby, society, and, the mother herself, breastfeeding is the best choice when it comes to feeding and caring for a baby in the most optimal way. Obedience and Authority

Studies of obedience to authority have been important to social psychologists as they study the manner in which authorities change thoughts, behaviors and feelings of citizens.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Obedience and Authority specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More Despite the fact that Obedience has been perceived as a useful tenet in society, psychological research has suggested the existence of a dark side (Hill par. 5-8). Therefore, it is necessary for authorities to order people to be obedient, but the orders have to be based on moral standards. In this paper, the negative and positive aspects of the authorities’ orders are compared while maintaining the necessity of obedience to authority. The manner in which people obey those in authority has been the focus of recent debate and research. For instance, Stanley Miligram, a social psychologist described an experiment where ordinary citizens delivered e lectric shock every time a person failed to memorize certain words. In this experiment, shock givers did not know that no shock was being delivered, and the recipient was trained to respond by false pretence. The experiment revealed that about two thirds of shock deliverers were ready to inflict pain regardless of the recipient’s agony, simply because of authorization (Tourist 13). In line with Miligram’s experiment, the situation in Abu Ghraib prison (where soldiers participated in inhumane treatment of detainees due to orders from those in authority) and Okinawa (where residents were ordered by Japanese military to kill themselves using grenades) gives the implication that even decent people can end up torturing and killing when given the right circumstances. The fact that the soldiers in Abu Ghraib participated in torturing of detainees (they considered it principled or even romantic) raises the important question whether the bow to authority must exist among all pe ople or moral oppositions should sometimes be put up. Therefore, a balance between obedience and non-compliance has to be struck, since obedience is required for smooth functioning of societies. Similarly, when people oppose authority blindly, it causes a delusional belief where they think they possess a certain moral virtue. This is contrary to the fact that real life always requires people to exercise compromise. Several authors (e.g. Wenker) have pointed out that blind opposition to authority serves no other role other than a satisfaction to one’s own egoism, which may be detrimental to society and people’s well being.Advertising Looking for essay on social sciences? Accordin g to Wenker, a strong moral decision exists in the armed forces. Therefore, soldiers have a strong moral obligation to fulfill these decisions by choosing the best approach of attaining their goals in line with those of the military. Soldiers have always attributed the attainment of military goals as being extremely significant. However, this may contravene the rights and freedoms of those involved, as explained by the attempt of soldiers to milk evidence from detainees at Abu Ghraib prison through immoral and inhumane ways (Wenker 5). According to Wenker, the military force is not justified to use authority in a manner which contravenes the rights of citizens. Therefore, he suggests that â€Å"the armed forces are a means to very significant moral ends† (Wenker 7). Wenker further points out that the military system of authority is not devoid of unfair treatment, for instance when liberties of soldiers are restricted in certain situations. However, authorities (e.g., the mili tary system) have generally achieved a remarkable record of promoting fair treatment. For instance, though obedience by prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq was necessary as part of their rehabilitation, there was also a dark side because of the tendency by American soldiers to obey authority figures, even when they made demands which were out rightly questionable and ultimately immoral to the detainees (Hersh 1-3; Kambayashi 1-3; Hill par. 5-8). According to Wenker, authorities need more instruments to realize their goals other than solely relying on soldiers. Hence Wenker points out that there must be societal cooperation, where the effort of each societal member is in line with the effort of others. However, for such a phenomenon to occur, conscious decisions have to be made, which elicits the necessity of societal decision procedures. Wenker asserts that if effective and fair decisions are adopted as part of procedures, citizens tend to obey them. Therefore, obedience to autho rity is a condition which is necessary so that the moral goals of authorities can be achieved. Hence according to Henkel, obedience is a functional imperative, so long as the decision procedure undertaken by authorities is fair and effective (Wenker 1-8).Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Obedience and Authority specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More For instance, protests by Okinawa residents due to attempts to downplay army’s role in mass suicides was a justified and fair approach taken by society on moral grounds. Hence the decision by authorities to revise history and protect involvement of the military in mass suicide during the Second World War was a decision that was morally wrong (Kambayashi 1-3; Hill par. 5-8). Because of the obligation of personnel working in authorities to obey military or police authority, the personnel, in any situation should rely on obedience as the morally appropriate response to decisions. However, quick obedience should not be blind and the personnel’s moral sensitivities should be kept alert towards the possibility that disobedience might be required by morality (Wenker 8; Hill par. 5-8). Art Censorship essays

Art Censorship essays Throughout the history of mankind, a portion of the population have felt the need to remove or suppress material that they consider to be morally, politically, or otherwise objectionable, such as books, films, or other materials. Censorship can be dated back to ancient Greek and Roman times. Some of the works of art and literature that were considered taboo a long time ago, are widely available in modern day life. William Shakespeare, Michelangelo, John Lennon, Diego Rivera, and the Venus de Milo were all thought to be morally wrong or offensive at one time or another. In the twentieth century, censorship has gone to more extreme measures by involving the government and legal system. Many artists take for granted the freedom to create art. Most do not understand or appreciate this freedom until it is taken from them. Fortunately, this freedom is guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States. The First Amendment reads "Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech" (1). The 14th Amendment makes the protections of the First Amendment applicable to state laws. Almost any attempt to regulate written or spoken word can be scrutinized by the courts to assure that it does not violate the protections provided by the First Amendment.. However, despite what on the face of the First Amendment appears to be a total prohibition on government restricting freedom of speech, not all exercises of expression or speech will be protected by the First Amendment. Many people think that the focus of the First Amendment is to protect the freedom of speech of controversial political groups such as the American Nazi Party. Although many cases involve purely political speech, courts have also declared that artistic expression is also protected by the First Amendment. These cases are not as black and white as those involving political speech, because the United States Supreme Court, over the years, has strug...

Hollywood movie history Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 4750 words

Hollywood movie history - Essay Example The "Hollywood movie history" essay traces the history of this land from the 1870s to 1960s and describes the salient points in its development. In 1910, film maker D.W. Griffith working for Biograph Company, came to Downtown Los Angeles, and with his acting troop to shoot films. Thus it was Griffith who shot the first ever movie in Hollywood, then without a studio. The film was called â€Å"In Old California†. It was a Biograph melodrama. The movie troop stayed there for several months before going back to New York. The oldest company, still existing in Hollywood is Nester and Centaur Films based in Gower Gulch and founded by William Horsley. This company created the first film laboratory in Hollywood. Nester Company started the first film studio in Hollywood in 1911.The studio functioned from an old tavern on the corner of Sunset and Gower. It was from here the early Hollywood legends like D. W. Griffith, (the director credited with the evolution of the film language, throug h his classics like â€Å"The Birth of a Nation’, â€Å"intolerance†), and Cecil B.Demille, known for his biblical epics, regularly started making films. Before the World War 1, movies were made in different cities of the United States. But many factors attracted, film makers to Hollywood. One of the major factors was that, they could evade the fees imposed for film making by Thomas Edison who had the patent for movie making process. â€Å"Going west had serious impulses of escapism in it: to get away from the Motion Picture Patent Company and the gangsters who had sought to organize film making in the East.†

The Hudsons Bay Company :: essays research papers fc

Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Lawmaking is a complicated, complex and comprehensive process which involves the locating, focusing and directing of social control. There are strong theories about the essence of social control. Some sociologists have even concluded that social control as a concept should be discarded totally because its power as an analytical tool was weakened through an unhealthy combination of overuse and under-explanation. As Chunn and Gavigan point out, it is not sufficient to use social control as an analytic tool when one begins with the approach that (1) either the meaning of the concept is too obvious to need definition or (2) the concept is undefinable but can be used without being defined.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  For the purposes of this study, an attempt will be made to examine the dialectical relationship between legal power and social control using the Hudson's Bay Company's monolithic jurisdiction over a large part of North America. The period under study is from the Company's chartering in 1670 until 1821, when a new regulatory act was passed. An examination of the legal system which was operative in the late 17th and entire 18th century in Rupert's Land offers insight into the roots of the Canadian legal process. In spite of the corporate nature of the Company-run Rupert's Land, I believe that a close study of legal questions, cases and decisions that arose during the Company's first one hundred and fifty years will indicate that all the social control mechanisms were not in the Company's hands. Rather a synergy between the Company and the frontierspeople determined the nature of the laws.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  To cope with the above-mentioned difficulties in using social control as an analytical tool, I plan to use the conceptual theme of social controls suggested by Russell Smandych. Smandych's approach returns analytical usefulness to the social control concept. He examines the layers, levels, nuances, and threads of social control that both define and confine behavior. He takes social control analysis a necessary extra step by recognizing that it is not an entirety in and of itself but that it is a collection of controls, each operating at a different level. And rather than using the controls found in a society as explanations of that society, Smandych recommends using the possibility of these controls as analytical devices for restudying and rethinking a society.   Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  Ã‚  The Hudson's Bay Company was entitled to handle all law making, enforcement, and execution from 1670 until 1870. Because the Hudson's Bay Company was working with a tabula rasa (especially as it did not give consideration to aboriginal laws), judicially speaking, it offers a prime example for viewing the development of law from step one.

ERP Systems Essay

1.Explain the conditions or circumstances that would lead a company to use the IWM features available within SAP ERP. What capabilities does IWM add to the features available within the Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Production Planning and Execution areas of SAP ERP? The conditions and circumstances that would lead a company to use the IWM features available within SAP ERP are due to increased cost pressure, higher customer expectations, shorter cycles of innovation and high differentiation of consumer goods within the same industry. Additionally, customers are demanding more efficient ways of delivery. IWM features are able to improve timeliness and flexibility of deliveries. IWM has the capabilities to support increasingly complex supply chains. There are many capabilities provided within the Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Production Planning and Execution areas. Some capabilities include the ability to track orders and inventory in real time, display inventory value, control the movement of goods internally between plants, initiate the transfer of goods, and creating sales orders pertaining to materials management and warehouse management. Additionally, running bin status reports of goods in the warehouse, purchasing/selling goods internally by STOs and controlling the fulfillment process. 2.What is the purpose of using a â€Å"stock transport order†? Why would a â€Å"stock transport order† be used rather than an ordinary â€Å"stock transfer,† or a combination of â€Å"sales order† (sending plant) and â€Å"purchase order† (receiving plant)? The purpose of a stock transport order (STO) is to request materials from another plant within the same company code instead of procuring the material from a normal vendor. Hence, one plant is purchasing materials from another plant that sells the materials. Additionally, the IWM process is triggered by the STO from the manufacturing facility to a warehouse managed storage location. STOs are more complex in nature and can be performed with deliveries, without deliveries, and with deliveries and billing. A STO would be used instead of a â€Å"purchase order.† This is due to the plant purchasing goods from the other plant as a transport under the same company code. A purchase order is purchasing goods/materials from a normal vendor, not a plant within the same company code. The same reasoning applies to the sales order. The sending plant is sending goods/materials to their customers, not a plant within the same company code. As for a stock transfer, they are used to transfer materials within a company from one location to another. Movements include within one plant, between plants, and etc†¦Stock transfers are a simple way of moving goods, not internal purchasing/selling of goods like STOs.

Learning to manage oners time is a crucial step in each one of us must take for the future. Before I talk about what we can do to improve our time management, I wish to state why it is important in the first place. Any of us can say that successfully managing our time means being able to lessen the actual amount of time it takes to achieve more in a day. With basic knowledge we know that the less amount of time it takes to complete more, we will ultimately have more time for ourselves in the end. There will be many schedules that we will have while in college. Not every student will have the same. There are academic, sports, extracurricular, and personal schedules that will best fit our individual needs. Everyone, young or old, has their own personal routine. We love our set schedules only because they keep us moving at a steady, comfortable pace through our whole lives. Keeping up with these schedules wont be difficult as long as that person doesnt procrastinate. Just by being human, procrastination is, without dispute, in our genes. Throughout generations and our own lifetimes, we have perfected the skill of procrastination to a point. The online web has countless resources students, teachers, and average working men and women can use for their assistance. When used for research the internet is used to look up information about what the person desires to know. Nowadays the internet is the best tool to use for setting reminders and schedules, as well as smart technology in o rder to make the small things easier to accomplish. Though it is useful, it can also be a great device for procrastination and distractions. The easiest thing that people can do is to get distracted, especially when the interruption is something we believe to be worth our time. Everyone gets distracted at some point every day. When it comes to college students, getting distracted becomes far too easy for some. Parties are a large distraction. They tend to keep us long enough for them to completely lose track of time, primarily if we are have a good time or enjoying it. It could be that the person just doesnt want to leave or, depending on the party, it got to a point to where they couldnt leave. Not focusing on what is most important, will ultimately harm anyone in the end. This could be failing a test, being demoted, or losing a job because they failed to stay focused. I, myself, can easily stay on time and on target of what I need to be accomplished, but only when I get enough sleep. We all know that sleep is vital no matter what, but yet we still dont seem to realize how much of an affect it has on our lives. If I were to go around asking people about sleep, I would get roughly the same answer every time. That sleep is good and not getting enough is bad, but I choose not to get enough because I have an agenda that I must accomplish. We were all told in health class that we should have at least eight hours of sleep every night if we are to perform exceptionally every day. As an opinion, I believe that when caffeine became a huge part of life, people began to think that the eight hours wasnt necessary anymore. We can simply stay up late and drink caffeine in the morning in order to perform well enough. While this may be true, the body itself still needs eight hours at the minimum to mentally and physically prepare itself for the coming day. Staying up late can also lead to a bad habit of constantly staying up, thus throwing people off course from their specific schedule as well as the bodyrs itinerary. Every personrs perception of time differs. Time will take up a huge piece of the pie that is our lives. Without our concept of time as well as time management, we would never be able to achieve our objectives. We, as people, decide what we make of it though. If an individual wishes to spend their time partying and procrastinating, then they will eventually learn the outcome of their time, whether it be positive or negative. They will also encounter the effects of their decisions that follow. They then are consciously able to see that outcome and are capable of changing their management styles, in order to obtain outcomes that are good for them.
